The 20 year-old son of notorious hip hop star Dr. Dre was found dead Saturday morning when his mother could not wake him around 10 am, says The Los Angeles Times.

According to the L.A. coroner Andre Young Jr. had been partying in Los Angeles and returned to his mother’s home in Woodland Hills, California around 5:30 am. The cause of his death as not been determined, but foul play is not suspected.

Nor is it known if this is truly Dr. Dre’s son. Dr. Dre’s real name is Andre Romelle Young and it is believed that his mother is Dre’s protege and 90s R&B artist Michel’le, with whom they had a son together. Dr. Dre has at least five children.

Dr. Dre has neither confirmed not denied the incident. He is expected to release a long awaited album entitled ‘Detox’ later this year.
