Today a Chinese beauty treatment company, Umosen, has developed a facial treatment that applies 24 karat gold leaf to the face, and is then gently massaged into the skin until the gold completely disappears.

Unlike traditional facial treatments costing roughly $60-$120, the Umo 24 Karat Gold Facial costs about $400-$500 and is only available in select spas.

This treatment is suppose to rejuvenate the skin, remove wrinkles, banish blemishes, fade age spots and leave your skin luminous. Do you think this treatment is worth it’s weight in gold?

I think I’ll stick with my Dead Sea mud mask and take my $400 to buy me some pretty gold earrings.
