I don’t focus on sports supplements for bodybuilding or dietary supplements often used for weight loss in place of healthy eating and exercise. These types of supplements are usually unnatural and extremely harmful. Instead, I give recommendations on safe herbal supplements that promote healthy living. Remember that dietary supplements are categorized by the FDA as “foods” and not “drugs” so manufactures are not required to prove that they are safe, and the FDA will only take action after they have been proved to be harmful.
