Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston starred in a romantic comedy called The Break-Up that seemed to be a forshadowing of their future split. In a recent interview with Parade magazine, Vince reveals a little more about their relationship and why they went their separate ways.
“I have such a great friendship with Jennifer,” the 37-year-old actor told Parade. “I still talk to her constantly. I have a real, genuine connection with Jen.”
Why did they split if they were (and are) so close?
“People date, and sometimes it works out, and sometimes it doesn’t,” he explains referring to his 13-month relationship with Aniston.
When talking about the rumor that he isn’t ready to settle down or start a family he adds, “I don’t run away, but I’ve never been to the point where I’ve felt like ‘Wow, this makes sense.’”
In a response to rumors surfacing from the National Enquirer, Jennifer Aniston’s reps recently told Usmagazine.com that “she’s not pregnant” with Vaughn’s baby.
Though I’m sure most of you want more juicy details from Vaughn than a simple “it just didn’t work out” explanation, this is apparently all you’re going to get for now.
