Natalie Portman, long-time animal activist and vegetarian-turned-vegan, launched her new and adorable footwear line at the Té Casan store in NYC last night.
One hundred percent of the proceeds from her cruelty-free shoes will be donated to The Nature Conservancy, an organization dedicated to ecological protection. And I am all about that!
“As a vegan, it’s been challenging finding designer shoes made of alternative materials,” Portman said. “It’s the perfect opportunity to design high-end footwear free of animal products.”
