Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds secretly wed Saturday evening at a remote wilderness resort near Vancouver, Canada, Scarlett’s rep told Usmagazine.com. Guests included her mother, Melanie Sloan, and her brother, Adrian Johansson.
Scarlett the 23-year-old starlet and Reynold,s the 31-year-old recently seen in the movie Definitely, Maybe, have been dating since spring 2007. They announced their engagement May 5th and Scarlett has been spotted wearing a 3-carat diamond ring worth approximately $30,000.
Wait, back up a minute. Wasn’t it ScarJo who once said she would never get married?
“You don’t always meet the right person at the right time,” she told Cosmopolitan.
She has also said that people aren’t monogamous by nature.
“I believe in finding a soul mate. I’ve always been in monogamous relationships. I would never want to be in an open one. It’d be too awful.”
