Julia Roberts got her first Oscar nomination early in her career with her role as Shelby Eatenton Latcherie in the 1989 movie “Steel Magnolias”. But it was her role as Vivian Ward the very next year in the 1990 movie “Pretty Woman” that made Julia Roberts a Hollywood superstar and gave her a second Oscar nomination.
Julia’s career had taken off but it would be a decade later when she would get her third Oscar nomination for her title role in “Erin Brockovich” and this time she would win.
Since then, Roberts has been selective in her movie roles and has been having fun in movies like “Ocean’s Eleven” (and Twelve), “The Ant Bully”, and “Charlotte’s Web”.
But there are other dramatic roles on the horizon for Julia. In December 2007, “Charlie Wilson’s War” is set to release and two more movies are already planned for 2008.
