It was only a matter of time. Adnan Ghalib, the ex-paparazzi “friend” of Britney Spears, is speaking publically about his relationship with the pop train wreck, in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. The interview will air tonight.
I know many of you have followed this story for awhile just waiting for the day that Britney Spears either wakes up from this nightmare or falls deeper into a hole that is nearly impossible to get out of. Would she be pregnant again? Would she get married to this paparazzi loser that she barely even knows? (by the way, I call him a loser solely based on his job of following people around with a camera, but I’m sure there are probably many other reasons I could find if I looked a little deeper.)
It has been widely rumored that Adnan has been paid a wad of cash for the interview but he denies receiving any compensation for the inside scoop. PageSix.com astutely connectly the dots:
We know this because ET’s Thea Andrews asks him, “Were you paid for this interview?” to which Adnan replies, “No. Not at all.”
Adnan divulges the details around how the relationshiop started.
“I think I believe it was December 20th, when it was an aggressive chase and at a stoplight in Hollywood she got out of her car and got into mine and I think that’s what made the difference,” he tells ET.
After years of following Britney Spears with his camera, trying to capture her every move, apparently he wasn’t prepared to capture some special moves that she wanted to share with him.
“Sometimes in life we prepare ourselves with things that may happen but I was definitely not prepared in any way shape or form for that,” he says.
Thea asked if he was shocked and he replies: “Beyond shocked!”
