Photos taken by Brad Pitt of wife Angeline Jolie breastfeeding made it on the cover of the November issue of W magazine.
Jolie is wearing what looks to be a white sleeveless nightgown with her left breast exposed and a hand of one of her newborn twins reaching out, Knox Leon or Vivienne Marcheline, who were born in July. The cover promising Brad Pitt’s private photos of Angelina Jolie.
It’s unknown how readers will feel about this cover, but La Leche League International, the world’s oldest breastfeeding support organization approves of Angelina Jolie’s choice to be photographed nursing.
“Breast-feeding in public reveals a whole lot less than what has been revealed on the red carpet. … I think we do need more role models like Angelina Jolie willing to be photographed and say, `Hey look, it can be done, it oughta be done,’” said La Leche spokeswoman Jane Crouse.
You may remember that photos of the twins fetched $14 million dollars in exchange for a donation to charity. Perhaps proceeds for the sale of this upcoming issue will demand the same.
