People magazine has named Hugh Jackman the sexiest man of the year. And I have to agree. A man with real talent; he can sing, dance, maintain a marriage and family and continue to star in successful films. A few facts about the actor:
His full name is Hugh Michael Jackman.
Hugh was born October 12, 1968 in Sydney, New south Wales, Australia. He turned 40 this year.
He has been married for 12 years to actress Deborra-Lee Furness.
They adopted two children, Oscar Maximilian, 8, and Ava Elliot, 3.
To earn money while in school Hugh worked at a Shell station and as a part-time clown for children’s parties.
Hugh graduated from the University of Technology, Sydney with a BA in Communications, having majored in journalism.
In 1994 he graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts of Edith Cowan University in Perth, Western Australia.
He stands 6′2 1/2″ tall. His character Wolverine, was originally 5′3″ tall, and had to be shot at odd angles to make him appear shorter.
In 2006, Jackman replaced Russell Crowe in Baz Luhrmann’s Australia, (in theaters now), starring opposite Nicole Kidman.
