Just minutes before she was about to go on for her Montreal show, Janet Jackson was rushed to the hospital with an unexplained illness on Monday night. She was released two hours later with no public explanation.
In a statement from one of Janet’s representatives: the singer “got suddenly ill during her sound check … and had to be rushed to the hospital just before showtime.”
The forty-two-year-old singer is currently on her “Rock Witchu” tour making her first appearance in Montreal in seven years. It is unsure if her next scheduled performance in Boston will be a go. She has called off a concert in Detroit last week due to “production restraints”.
