Everyone’s cutie Johnny Depp has been voted the world’s most bankable film star in 2007.
The survey was conducted by Quigley Publishing Co. who asked theater companies to vote for the top 10 celebrities that brought in the most dough for their establishment.
Johnny Depp takes the cake with films Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End, and Sweeny Todd.
Runners up include Will Smith, George Clooney, Matt Damon, Denzel Washington, Russel Crowe, Tom Cruise, Nicolas Cage, Will Ferrell and Tom Hanks.
No actress has made the top 10 list in the past 24 years. What a shame!
Johnny Depp also tops a list of the best signing celebrities for the third year. He always agrees to sign an autograph if a fan asks for one.
New York autograph dealer Anthony Risi says, “He likes to talk to fans and get to know them while signing and he’ll sign more than one item when he has time.”
What a great guy. As if we need another reason to like Johnny Depp. Most celebrities are rude and forget that it’s the fans that make them famous.
