There is a rumor going around that rapper Lil Wayne died from a gun shot during the weekend in a gang feud.

Lil Wayne’s real name is Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr. When he was 12 he accidentally shot himself in the chest with a .44-caliber. If Lil Wayne is in fact dead, he leaves behind a newborn son named Dwayne Carter III.

Sometimes celebrities like to leak information like this for publicity, but with his recent success I’m not sure why he would need such attention.
