What is this I hear that Paris Hilton was named Harvard’s Woman of the Year?
Ummmm, what? I’m not really sure on what criteria Paris would even qualify for such an honor.
The partying socialite is scheduled to pick up her award February 7 from the Hasty Pudding Club in Cambridge, Massachusetts during a promotional tour for her upcoming movie The Hottie and the Nottie.
Previous Women of the Year include Scarlett Johansson, Halle Berry and Sarah Jessica Parker.
By the way, the Hasty Pudding Club was founded in 1790, by Nymphus Hatch, a junior at Harvard College. It is named for the traditional American dish that the founding members ate at their first meeting. It is a membership-based social club at Harvard that boasts five past U.S. presidents as members: John Adams, John Quincy Adams, Theodore Roosevelt, Franklin Delanor Roosevelt, and John F. Kennedy.
