Say “bye-bye” to Tina Fey’s Sarah Palin impressions on Saturday Night Live. We’ve had enough of them anyhow. Although I’m not sure how SNL is going to fare given that Tina and Amy Poehler are gone. Viewership for SNL has gone up 70% this season with all it’s political satires.
Tina Fey will be back as Sarah Palin in the future but for now, “I have to retire just because I have to do my day job.”
“I think [Kristen] Wiig would do a really good job.”
On passing the Palin torch, Tina says, “Maybe we could get a real torch. Or I could give Wiig the Palin wig.”
