T.R. Knight Leaving Grey’s Anatomy?

The actor who plays Dr. George O’Malley on ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy, T.R. Knight, has asked to be released from his contract from the show. What?!

Knight says that he wants to leave because he is unhappy with the storyline. He has three years left on his contract and the network has said that they will release him. Will Katherine Heigl be next?

This show causes just as much off-screen drama as it does on. We will miss Dr. George O’Malley, but not that much.
