Conrad Hilton is Paris Hilton’s great-grandfather and was the founder of Hilton Hotels in 1946. He had three wives included the famous actress/socialite Zsa Zsa Gabor. His marriage to Mary Adelaide Barron produced three sons, one of which was William Barron Hilton (Paris Hilton’s grandfather). Though Conrad left his hotel empire to the Roman Catholic Church and other charities, leaving his children nearly nothing, Barron challenged the Will and won in court. And so the Hilton Hotel empire stayed in the family and Barron went on to build it to what it is today.
