While on her way to a VIP lounge at a nightclub in Paris Lindsay Lohan was pelted with an bag of flour by an anti-fur activist. The French woman shouted “Lindsay Lohan… fur hag!” and was then escorted from the event.
Soon after, PETA Europe’s Robbie LeBlanc released a statement about the confrontation which makes some think that they have have been behind the attack.
“There is nothing remotely ‘fashionable’ about the torture and death of animals killed for fur. Lindsay Lohan might be able to ignore images of bloody animals skinned alive for their pelts, but we hope a dash of flour will help her rise to the occasion and forsake fur once and for all.”
PETA and Lohan have had a long history of disagreements regarding her love of fur. They’ve consistently urged her to stop using fur and named her to their “Worst Dressed List”.
Lohan seems to continue her downward spiral after getting kicked off Ugly Betty, multiple run-ins with paparazzi, remarks about Obama being “colored”, and a general sense that no one in Hollywood wants to work with her anymore.
