Denzel Washaington is named America’s favorite movie star for the second year in a row. He beat out Tom Hanks for the number one spot and Johnny Depp moved up from number 7 last year to number 3 this year.
Unfortunately, I really dislike Washington’s acting skills. I don’t really understand his draw. He bores me and I don’t find him to be an exceptionally talented actor, and I’ve seen all his movies. So him taking the top spot is over my head.
John Wayne is the only actor to make the top ten list every year since its inception in 1994.

Denzel Washington connects with the people. He is very convencing actor in all roles, its almost like he being himself. You should question why John Wayne is in the top ten.
