What does the Wii Fit, the Ab Roller and the Thigh Master all have it common? The Wii Fit, like the rest, is just another fitness fad.
Nintendo’s popular exercise game is currently in 1.5 million U.S. homes and has been flying off the shelves after it’s release May 2008. The console consists of a balance board that measures players’ movement, as well as track weightloss. You can do everything from running to yoga to push ups. But just like most other fitness phenomenons, this one only works if you are using it consistently and for most people the dedication for weight loss is lacking.
Now if you are using the Wii Fit on a regular basis you will see gains in your physical strength and appearance, just like any other fitness routine. However, most people will give it up in a month because they lose interest.
The Wii Fit is better than playing traditional video games and does improve, cardiovascular fitness, flexibility and balance. And if you are one of those people who does not like to be seen at a gym, then the Wii Fit is perfect for you.
If you have a Wii Fit then I wanna hear from you. What are you opinions?
