You may want to rethink your kid’s Happy Meal after you read this:
Chicken in McDonald’s Chicken McNuggets is not the main ingredient in this product, not even close. According to Michael Pollan, author of The Omnivore’s Dilemma, a McNugget is made up of 38 ingredients, mostly chemicals and corn dervitives. In total, a McNugget is 56% corn products. But 0.02% is tertiarybutylhydroquinone, a petroleum byproduct used as a preservative. TBHQ is known as butane, which is actually lighter fluid. So basically Chicken McNuggets contain lighter fluid. That’s a classy meal right there.
The 2004 documentary Super Size Me alleged that Chicken McNuggets were, at one point in time, made from sick and/or old chickens unable to lay eggs, and that they included chemicals such as TBHQ (a phenolic antioxidant), Dimethylpolysiloxane (an anti-foaming agent), and other ingredients not used by a typical home cook. As of 2007, these two ingredients are still listed as ingredients of the vegetable oil that is used to fry the McNuggets. I wouldn’t take a chance; skip Mickey D’s all together.

Well, what can we expect? There is high fructose corn syrup in everything too and that is bad for us and making us fat. And all the hydrogenated oils and fats and stuff, too. There was a mouse baked into a hot dog bun, too. And we hear about aspartame and other sweeteners causing cancer. What about cigarettes, they cause cancer and our government allows those. And alcohol is poison and a drug and so is nicotine and so is caffeine.

Tis stuff is not the healthiest for sure, but it is in almost all vegetable oil, and many , many foods.
The main thing I have to say here is why would you put up a piece exosing trhis only to make yourself look ridiculous by stating that it is known as butane??
You could not be more wrong. It is a phenol that comes from hydroquinone , nothing at all related to butane or anything like it.
Stating the garbage that is in their food is a good thing, but making up some lie about it, is almost worse than the original sin. people tend to not know who to believe, and end up making false accusations and , you end up looking as you now do.
Why not get the facts, and maybe expose a little more, like how they actually fry their burgers in lard! They have even stated that cusomers like the famous flavor that comes from this ridiculous method of cooking a hamburger, and they have no plans to change it. “Yes I’ll have some animal fat with my animal fat please, I like it that way!”

I agree about the butane dispute, however, Newton…… McDonalds does not cook their burgers in LARD!! I worked there for 6 years as a teen, trust me I know! The burger patties are cooked on a stainless steel griddle, with teflon on the top of the clam shell. There is no lard, the patties are then scrapped off with a spatula.
Ha ha ha…………… maybe you should get your facts straight too! Everyone has their own story about McDonalds food. Yes it is full of crap, unless you have worked there in the kitchen/back, cut out the BS and rumors. Either eat it or don’t! Stop making up crap…… unless you have worked there and know what you are talking about, shut the f$#% up!

Point is about all this is if you want to know what is in it make it your self! There is no way to completly cut out everything bad for you, like goofy said there is poison every where! Be picky about what you eat and where you eat!
