I was craving a salad today. Wait…..did I just say that? Yes, I did. Just checking. After weeks without putting dressing on my salad I can finally get into what’s really in the salad rather than the dressing. To enjoy the ingredients for what they are rather than smothering them is fatty, but yummy dressing. Another milestone? Perhaps. Only three more days to go. I know after this is all said and done I will continue to eat like I have been the past few weeks.

Here’s what I ate today:

9:00am Breakfast: shake with strawberries and frozen mangoes/blueberries/raspberries (from Trader Joe’s), spinach

12:30pm: 40 min run/walk

1:30pm Lunch: shake with strawberries and spinach

3:00pm: salad with spinach, radish, turnip and ground turkey breast, flaxseed oil and fresh lime juice

7:30pm: 1 1/2 hour power yoga class

9:30pm: shake with strawberries

Note: all shakes are made with the SP Complete powder, Whole Food Fiber, cinnamon, stevia and ice.

      I’m dying to know in POUNDS lost how you’re doing! I’m not typically a diet person, but reading about what you’re eating and seeing how often you’re eating I think I may be able to do it. I have my 15 yr high school reunion in 6 weeks and I’d really like to drop those last 15 pounds of baby weight!!

      Hi Amber,

      I don’t own a scale and do not weight myself, however I do know that I have lost weight and my clothes are fitting better. I would recommend you do this particular cleanse, especially if you want to lose the weight. The Standard Process cleanse will surely help you drop those extra pounds. Good luck!

      I did a search for SP cleanse reviews and found your website! Now I’ve bookmarked it! I was told about this by my chiropractor who is helping me get healthier to lose my last 10 pounds I put on over the winter when I stopped running and got lazy! I’m running again now to train for my fall marathon but can’t seem to drop the weight! I’m nervous about being hungry though so I”m glad to see you did this but kept up the activity and wasn’t hungry…..I would LOVE to know more about everything you did on this cleanse……I’ll definitely need to do some serious shopping and be prepared…if I get hungry, I’ll quit, I just know it! Anyway I just wanted to connect with you and perhaps keep in touch if I decide to do this? Thanks for posting what you ate everyday and what you did physically….:)

      Hi Amy! I’m so glad you found my site….welcome! I was running too on the cleanse, but it was harder since I wasn’t eating as much, but doable. I was not hungry on the cleanse because the shakes are very filling and I was eating every few hours. You can’t really think about being on the cleanse you just have to do it and take it day by day. The time will go by fast and I saw results after 2 days into it! That will keep you motivated. Whenever it says that I ate salmon, ground chicken or turkey I sauteed in a pan with a bit of olive oil. I did end up eating some of the same things and perhaps next time I do the cleanse I will have better recipes to share, but sometimes simple is better.
