In a recent review of 97 published studies comparing the nutrient value of organic foods versus conventionally farmed foods (fruits, vegetable and grains), showed that organic foods averaged 25% higher in nutrients.
The studies matched 236 pairs of foods, one organically grown and one conventionally grown, under similar climates, harvesting practices, irrigation, plant genetics, nitrogen levels, and soils. The organic crops contained significantly greater amounts of beneficial antioxidants and polyphenols, which means more of these nutrients will be more absorbed in the body.
There you go organic doubters of the world! The proof is in the pudding, rather organic pudding.
