I think 1/2 hour is way too long to bake these. 10 minutes is perfect in my oven. My husband won't eat Kale, unless it is prepared this way. He loves these delicious "chips". We don't eat salt (high blood pressure) and this recipe is good even without the salt!

I tripped over a youtube video dealing with kale chips. I've made them several times before but they were always bitter. The person in the video made them with a dehydrator and since I have one, I used the above recipe but with the dehydrater. They are not totally done yet but I tasted 2. I'm in agony because they are not done and I want to eat them all NOW. Somehow the chemical reaction with the cider vinegar make them not bitter but sweet! I tasted them raw, when I mixed it all together and it was potent, like a pickle can be. Good, but potent. Now, they are sweet. I'm delighted. I will try oven cooking next but now with the added apple cider vinegar I have high hopes they will not be bitter. I'm so glad I stumped on your recipe. Thank you! Now I can mindlessly eat when watching a movie. Muahahahahaha
