You can also use rum instead of whiskey for this recipe, but I thought since I’m using Irish bangers it’s only fitting that I use Irish whiskey. A super easy appetizer recipe that (sorry guys!) you can “bang” out in a jiffy. Yes, I’m a dork, but at least I warned you! You will need 2 hours to allow the bangers to marinate in the whiskey. Serves 12-15.

  • 2 lbs of Irish bangers
  • Whiskey or rum
  • Brown sugar
  • Oil

In a skillet brown bangers in a little oil. Remove from pan and allow to rest for 5 minutes. Cut into 1-inch pieces and put into baking dish. Cover with whiskey and refrigerate for 2 hours.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sprinkle with brown sugar and bake until brown and bubbly for 25-35 minutes. Serve warm with toothpicks.
