This almond shortbread cookie recipe makes about 7 dozen.
- 1 cup butter
- 1/3 cup fruit sugar
- 1 1/2 to 2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 100 gram package ground almonds (about 1/4 cup)
Put all ingredients into a bowl. Mix together with a mixer. Take by the teaspoon and shape into crescent shapes and place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 275 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Make sure they do not brown. While still warm, roll into fruit sugar.
