- 1 stick butter
- 4 ounces unsweetened baking chocolate, chopped
- 1 1/3 cups granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 10 (0.6 ounce each) peppermint patties
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray an 8×8 inch pan with a non-stick spray. Melt butter and chocolate in a medium saucepan over a low heat, stirring often. Remove from heat and whisk in sugar and remaining ingredients, except the peppermint patties. Pour half of the batter into the greased baking dish. Then sprinkle cut up peppermint patties over top of batter. Add remaining batter and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
