Sugar cookies are my favorite so add this yummy cookie recipe to your collection.

• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup powdered sugar
• 1 cup butter
• 1 cup cooking oil
• 2 eggs
• 4 1/2 cups flour
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp cream of tartar
• 1 tsp vanilla

Combine sugars, butter and oil, beat well. Add eggs and mix well. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, cream of tartar and vanilla. Cover with plastic wrap and put in the refrigerator overnight. Make into small balls and flatten slightly with a fork. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Do not over cook so your finished product is nice and chewy.
