To make this into a chocolate chip pecan pie, simply replace the melted chocolate with 1/2 cup of chocolate chips.
- 1 store bought pie crust
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 cup Karo corn syrup
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips, melted
- 2 Tbs melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 cup pecans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In medium bowl, stir eggs, corn syrup, sugar, chocolate, butter and vanilla until well blended. Stir in pecans. Pour into pie crust-lined pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 50 to 60 minutes.
