I used to buy a Matcha Green Tea Latte from WholeFoods just about everyday, but then I decided to cut back on my spending and make it at home. Here’s the recipe for a one 12-16 ounce serving:

Blend 1-2 teaspoons of Matcha green tea and a small amount of liquid with a spoon to make a smooth paste. You can use hot or cold milk as well as vanilla soy, rice or almond milk. Add more liquid and sweeten as desired with agave nectar, honey or organic sugar. Add ice, if desired. Also try adding cinnamon, chai spices, vanilla or white chocolate syrups for delicious variations.
