This morning I read a story reporting that Santas in Sydney, Australia were being asked to say “ha ha ha” rather than “ho ho ho” because the traditional Santa Clause greeting may be offensive to women.

This world is so overly sensitive that you can’t do anything without offending someone. We are talking about little kids, most of which have no clue that “ho” could be taken to mean the American slang for a prostitute. Maybe some women just see the velvet red suit and confuse the Santa Clause with their old pimp. Hitting too close to home?

I was watching a dog show on public TV and they repeatedly used the term “bitch” to refer to a female dog. Should they be banned from doing so because it might offend women too?

Maybe Santas should also lose weight as well. Aren’t they just making fun of fat people? Or maybe skinny people feel they are being discriminated against and don’t have equal opportunity in the fat Santa industry.

Just leave Santa alone people!
