I saw a most beautiful thing today that nearly melted my heart and brought a tear to my eyes. I was driving on a very busy local street in Irvine, CA and I see a group of women, just off their lunch break I suspect, gathered on the other side of the road. After closer inspection I see that they are walking with a mother duck and her ducklings right behind her who are heading straight for the busy street. This group of maybe six women carefully cross with the ducks and stop traffic to make sure they don’t get ran over. It was a sincere act of kindness for these ladies make sure the ducks crossed safely. Plus it was pretty darn cute to see those baby ducks waddling along after their mother. I’m a sucker for baby animals; however, I hope they don’t try that again!
On the subject of animals, I have decided that I am going to be selling custom tie-dyed tanks and t-shirts to help raise money to support the abolishment harp seal clubbing in Canada and the fur trade. Half of the proceeds will be sent to straight to PETA. I will be posting more information soon, so check back!
