When I think of heiresses, I think Paris Hilton, or the Hollywood-type dancing atop tables and crashing their cars into poles. But Paris has nothing on these billionaire heiresses.
Forbes has put together a list of the 20 Most Intriguing Billionaire Heiresses around the globe. A distinguished group of ladies who have achieved their own success in business, sports and the arts.
The list is categorized by the most recent net worth of their father or mother, according to previous lists posted by Forbes’ World’s Billionaires, Forbes 400 list of the Richest Americans and Forbes Asia’s 40 Richest Indians.
Here to top the list is Vanisha Mittal, daughter of Indian-born London-based steel magnate Lakshmi Mittal. Forbes estimates his net worth is $51 billion. She holds a seat on Mittal Steel’s board after interning in the business.
You may remember Vanisha’s 2005 wedding costing $60 million with over 1,000 guests.
Number two on the list is Delphine Arnault Gancia, daughter of France’s Bernard Arnault who runs the Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton luxury goods empire. Forbes estimates his net worth at $26 billion.
Number three spot belongs to Marta Ortege Perez, the youngest child of Spain’s richest resident, Amancio Ortega, the self-made apparel manufacturing giant. His net worth: $24 billion.
