Cool concept right? Nudo, an olive grove in Italy’s Le Marche region, allows you a unique opportunity to adopt an olive tree for a year and they will send you all the produce from that tree.

For about $150 you can help support small-scale, artisanal farmers and the planet by adopting a tree, Nudo has 881 trees and eight groves, with names like Madelina, Il Capo, Ardelio and Lina.

Once you have chosen and adopted a tree, you will receive a certificate of adoption, your tree information booklet and over the course of the year, one package in the spring and on in the fall, containing all the produce from you tree.

Actually, Nudo collects your tree’s harvest plus that of the surrounding trees to make sure they have enough olives to press.
