Tim Burton + Alice In Wonderland = Johnny Depp. Yep, that’s right. Johnny Depp is rumored to play the Mad Hatter in Tim Burton’s upcoming adaption of Alice in Wonderland. Think Willy Wonka meets Sweeney Todd with a little Jack Sparrow thrown in. I know what you’re thinking. He should play Alice.

The film will be out in 2010 and if press leaks are confirmed it will be the seventh time that Burton and Depp will be working together.  Other collaborations include The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Edward Scissorhands and the recent Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.
