Reality queen and king Tyra Banks and Ashton Kutcher developed a new reality show with ABC called True Beauty premiering Monday, January 5 at 10PM ET/PT.
True Beauty will take six girls and four guys and put them in a house together in Los Angeles. They are all under the impression that they are competing in a beauty pageant only judged on their physical appearance. In truth they are being judged on their inner beauty by putting the contestants through different challenges to reveal their sincere personalities.
Vanessa Minnillo will be the host and judge of True Beauty with the help of fellow judges, model Cheryl Tiegs and former America’s Next Top Model judge Nole Marin. Each week one contestant is eliminated. After elimination a video montage of their behavior among the other housemates is shown.
The contestant who shows the most beauty from the inside and out will receive an undisclosed cash prize and a spot in People magazine’s 2009 “100 Most beautiful People” issue.
