• 1 lb fresh large mushrooms, about 2-inches in diameter
  • 1/2 lb lean turkey sausage
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 (8-ounce) package low-fat Neufchatel cheese, softened
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Sliced green onions and chopped parsley

Preheat oven t 350F. Clean mushrooms with damp paper towel and remove stems.

In a large skillet cook turkey sausage and onion over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until sausage is brown and onion is tender. Chop any large pieces of turkey. Drain and stir in Neufchatel cheese and heat until melted. Stir in Worcestershire sauce.

Spoon sausage mixture into mushroom caps. Place in 15×10x1-inch baking pan. Bake about 15 minutes or until heated through. Garnish with green onions and parsley, if desired. Serves 8.
